And the Oscar goes to...

I got the suggestion do recreate some of manicures that we could see on Oscars red carpet. All ladies there looked very stylish, elegant, feminine... but when it comes to manicure - they were all boring. Obviously, I'm not type of girl who wears just polish on nails, especially if that polish is inconspicuous. But, here's good news - one of the ladies had lovely, I'd say even bold manicure because she really was standing out of sea of nude and neutral manicures. 

Dobila sam sugestiju da rekreiram neku od manikura koje su se šetale na ovogodišnjoj dodjeli Oscara. Sve su tete tamo bile elegantne, ženstvene, odjevene sa stilom... ali kad su manikure u pitanju - ma bile su dosadne! Očito da nisam tip žene koja na noktima ima samo lak, naročito ako je taj lak neprimjetan. Ali, nade ipak ima, jedna od teta koje su tamo šetale je imala zgodnu, rekla bih čak i hrabru manikuru jer se baš izdvajala iz mora neutralnih i diskretnih manikura.

U posljednji čas, ali ipak, evo i moje manikure na ovotjednu temu:

Ever since I saw this manicure, done by very talented Lydz, I knew I had to try something like it myself. Unfortunately, I didn't had so much time, so I did only one chimney with only one Santa... but he's super fast and I bet he visited all of you... if you were good, of course . 

Let me introduce you to my little helpers:

Otkako sam vidjela ovu manikuru, koju je kreirala talentirana Lydz, znala sam da i sama moram probati nešto slično. Na žalost, nisam imala vremena na pretek pa sam nacrtala svega jedan dimnjak s jednim Djedicom... ali on je brzica i kladim se da je posjetio sve Vas... ukoliko ste bile dobre, naravno .

Matching Manicure Sunday #2 - Autumn In My Street

Another Sunday, another Matching Manicure for Balkan bloggers . This week the theme is: 'autumn in my street'. 

Evo nam još jedne nedjelje i još jedne Matching Manicure za balkanske blogerice . Ovaj tjedan tema je: 'jesen u mom sokaku'.

I had something completely different in my mind... those sponging looked better, and my leafs were awesome . Instead, I stuck with this. 

I started with three coats of Catrice 'Innocent Toxin', then sponged with Color Club 'charity ball', Chanel 'shanghai red' and BK #42. At the end I draw these wanna be leafs with my CD marker , sealed everything with the best topcoat in the world - Essence 'better than gel nails' fast dry. Like I said, it looked better in my head. Autumn or not, I wanna wear my pastels, I'm not ready for gloomy colors! Or is it that I just don't feel comfortable with this combo!?

U mojoj glavi je sve ovo izgledalo puno bolje... spužvanje je izgledalo bolje, a lišće bilo savršeno . Ujesto toga, zaglavila sam s ovim. 

Počela sam s tri sloja Catrice 'Innocent Toxin', onda spužvala s Color Club 'charity ball', Chanel 'shanghai red' i BK #42. Na kraju sam nacrtala kao lišće, i to s CD markerom , i zaštitila sve s najboljim nadlakom na svijetu - Essence 'better than gel nails' fast dry. Kao što rekoh, u glavi mi je ovo izgledalo bolje. Jesen ili ne, baš me briga, meni se još uvijek nose pastelne bojice, nisam spremna za sumornije nijanse! Ili mi jednostavno ova kombinacija nije legla!?

Reto 3013 - Fruity inspiration

I love fruit, I really love fruit... in every shape or color . But I have to choose only one for this week's manicure. Maybe you'll guess which .
Volim voće, stvarno volim voće, u bilo kojem obliku ili boji . Ali za ovotjednu manikuru izabrala sam samo jedno. Možda i pogodite o kojem se radi .

Don't know what's the deal with this orange, I told her that she's no kiwi, but she insisted to be in the picture. For this mani I used, what else, 'one kiwi a day' from essence fruity collection in three coats. White is Eveline classic color #253 and black is Chanel 'black satin'. Also participating - dotting tool and tip painter brush. If you like the manicure, you can see great tutorial here.

Nemam pojma koji je vrag ovoj naranči, rekla sam joj da mi treba kiwi ali inzistirala je da bude na fotki. Za manikuru sam koristila, a što drugo, essence 'one kiwi a day' iz fruity kolekcije u tri sloja. Bijela je Eveline classic #253 a crna Chanel-ov 'black satin'. Takođe sudjelovali - točkalica i tip painter četkica. Ako vam se manikura sviđa, preporučam ovaj tutorijal.

It's been too many posts with swatches on this blog, ant it's time for some nail art .
Bilo je dosta postova sa swatchevima na blogu i vrijeme je za nail art .

I used a sponge to cover some of this red polish, it's still that CH Nail Fluorescent #1 from yesterday, with Chanel 'black satin'. I didn't bother to do great gradient, I just sponged around. Then I used thin brush to throw some lines over it. See how these lines looks 3D, because of the thick formula of this polish!? When I sealed everything with topcoat it was dried almost instantly. At the end, I was pretty happy with my vampy manicure and it was noticed everywhere .

Poslužila sam se spužvom da pokrijem nešto ovog crvenog laka, još uvijek je to CH Nail Fluorescent #1 od jučer, s Chanelovim 'black satin'. Nisam se ni trudila napraviti dobar gradijent, samo sam 'spužvala' da ga malo pokrijem. Onda sam tankim kistom nabacila i par linija preko. Vidite kako izgledaju trodimenzionalno  jer je lak prilično gust!? Kad sam sve zapečatila nadlakom, bilo je suho skoro u sekundi. Na kraju moram s vama podijeliti svoje zadovoljstvo manikurom koja je bila itekako primjećena .

Shanghai red

It's time for a heavy artillery, and that means red! This one is Chanel's 'Shanghai red', lovely red color with a pink shimmer. It's been too long since I've wear red... too long. I applied two coats, with no topcoat. Gorgeous!

Vrijeme je za tešku artiljeriju, a to znači crvena! Na redu je Chanelov 'Shanghai red', krasna crvena s pinki shimmerom. Stvarno dugo nisam nosila crveno... predugo. Nanijela sam dva sloja, bez nadlaka. Krasan!

 

My nails are finally getting better, I think. They don't split so bad. Maybe they even grow up . Never mind the nails, I draw some dots on this polish, it's odd to have nails only in one color.

Čini mi se da mi nokti idu na bolje. Više se ne listaju tako strašno. Možda čak i narastu . Ma pustimo to, nabacila sam i malo točkica na lak, prečudno mi je imati nokte u jednoj boji. 

The topcoat smeared the designs but they look cute, note just my opinion, people told me so

Nadlak mi je malo razmazao točkice na prstenjaku, ali slatko je... ne mislim to samo ja, ljudi su mi rekli
