I got the suggestion do recreate some of manicures that we could see on Oscars red carpet. All ladies there looked very stylish, elegant, feminine... but when it comes to manicure - they were all boring. Obviously, I'm not type of girl who wears just polish on nails, especially if that polish is inconspicuous. But, here's good news - one of the ladies had lovely, I'd say even bold manicure because she really was standing out of sea of nude and neutral manicures. 

Dobila sam sugestiju da rekreiram neku od manikura koje su se šetale na ovogodišnjoj dodjeli Oscara. Sve su tete tamo bile elegantne, ženstvene, odjevene sa stilom... ali kad su manikure u pitanju - ma bile su dosadne! Očito da nisam tip žene koja na noktima ima samo lak, naročito ako je taj lak neprimjetan. Ali, nade ipak ima, jedna od teta koje su tamo šetale je imala zgodnu, rekla bih čak i hrabru manikuru jer se baš izdvajala iz mora neutralnih i diskretnih manikura.

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge - Candy Cane

Have you ever tried Candy Cane? I haven't . But I'll rather have it on my nails than on my teeth .
Jeste ikad probale Candy Cane? Ja nisam . Ali radije bih ih imala na noktima nego na zubima .

I'm pretty happy with this manicure, I must tell you. I'm only sorry that there was no sun outside when I took these pictures... it smells like snow, it's really cold! I live by the sea and we here don't see much of snow, every few years a few snowflakes and that's it, that's why snow is always such a big news . 

Anyway, I used China Glaze 'snow' and 'ruby pumps' for this manicure, with striping tape. If there's one nail polish that reminds me of Christmas, it's 'ruby pumps', gorgeous and divine glittery red . I really love it! Only on the last two pics there's topcoat on my nails, I was afraid of smearing the manicure so I took pictures before I applied it too. 

Prilično sam zadovoljna s ovom manikurom, moram reći. Jedino mi je žao što nije bilo sunca kad sam išla pofotkati noktiće... miriše mi na snijeg, baš je hladno! Živim pored mora i tu vidimo svako par godina po par pahuljica, zato nam je snijeg uvijek velika vijest .

Nego, za manikuru sam koristila China Glaze 'snow' i 'ruby pumps' sa striping trakicama. Ako me ijedan lak podsjeća na Božić, onda je to definitivno 'ruby pumps', božanski crveni glitter . Obožavam ga! Samo na zadnje dvije fotke je nanešen nadlak, za svaki slučaj sam prvo pofotkala nokte bez njega jer mi je u zadnje vrijeme krenilo razmazivanje .

I really don't know what to say about this manicure, let the pictures do the talking.
Ne znam što bih trebala reći o manikuri... neka slike govore.

The anchor was painted with acrylic paint, the polishes I used for this manicure are: China Glaze 'snow', Essence 'cool and the gang' and Golden Rose 'fashion color 47'... and I don't know to whom that hair belongs . 

Sidro je nacrtano akrilnom bojom, lakovi koje sam koristila su: China Glaze 'snow', Essence 'cool and the gang' i Golden Rose 'fashion color 47'... i nemam pojma odakle se ova dlaka stvorila i čija je .

Black & white nails challenge: Day 10

Finaly, the last day of black & white challenge . It's been fun, but when facing with something I must do, my minds shuts down, every single idea just evaporate from my brain. Well, today I had a great idea, it's manicure that I've already done here, but I love the way it looks, so, in today's 'manicure of your choice with black & white' you'll get this:
Evo nas već u posljednjem danu crno-bijelog izazova . Bilo je zabavno, ali kad se suočim s nečim što trebam napraviti moj mozak odbije poslušnost, sve ideje jednostavno ispare iz njega. Ipak, danas sam imala dobru ideju, to je manikura koju sam već odradila ovdje, ali mi se prilično svidjela, pa ćete je opet gledati u današnjom 'crno-bijeloj manikuri po vlastitom izboru':

The only question here is: why, why, oh why did I put topcoat over it? Black polish was totally dry... I don't know what was the problem, but the topcoat smeared it and those white stripes are not as white as they should be . In rl it doesn't look so bad, but on this macro pics... but after my last mani, everything is improvement, isn't it . And I just don't have the time to do  it all over again.  
Jedino pitanje tu je: zašto, zašto, o zašto sam stavila nadlak preko? Crni lak je bio potpuno suh... ne kužim u čemu je bio problem, ali nadlak ga je razmazao i ove bijele prugice nisu tako bijele kao što bi trebale biti . U stvarnosti to i ne izgleda tako loše, ali na makro fotkama... no, nakon posljednje manikure, sve je napredak, zar ne . A više nemam vremena da napravim sve ponovno.  


If you like to know how to do mani like this, just follow a few easy steps:
1. polish your nails in whatever color you like
2. use the striping tapes on dry polish 
Ako vas zanima kako da i sami imate ovakvu manikuru, slijedite par jednostavnih koraka:
1. nalakirajte nokte u boju koju želite
2. preko nalijepite striping trakice, pazite da lak bude suh

3. use polish of whatever color you want over it
3. prelakirajte lakom koje god boje želite

4. wait until the polish is semi dry and remove the striping tapes
4. sačekajte malo, neka lak bude polusuh i odstranite trakice

5. when everything is completely dry, put a topcoat over it... but be careful, you don't want to smear the polish like I did.
5. kad je sve kompletno suho, stavite i nadlak... ali pazite, ne želite razmazati gornji lak kao što se to meni desilo.


Ok, now this challenge is over, I may retire . Do you have any wishes maybe? Oh, I have some problems with blogger, I can't comment on any blogs, not even on mine... so, there will be some 'radio silence' from my side, sorry girls, hope it'll be ok soon enough.  
Ok, sad kad je ovaj izazov gotov, mogu i u mirovinu . Imate li vi možda kakvu želju? Aha, imam i problema s bloggerom, ne mogu ostaviti komentar na blogovima, čak ni na svom... tako da će neko vrijeme s moje strane vladati 'radio tišina', sorry cure, nadam se da će se ovo skoro srediti.
