July in pictures

Hi there!

No one happier from me that this month is finally over! On first day of July I lost my dad... well, I'm a big girl now, but I still want my dad. He lived in another country for a long time, so I had to travel to a funeral. When I got home, another lovely surprise waited for me - my son was physically attacked two times in two days. It seemed like the whole world was conspiring to hurt me or my family... 

But, life goes on. I survived, like so many times before. Luckily, the rest of this month wasn't so bad. I even had some time for shopping, seeing some dear people, enjoy myself at concerts... 

These are the things that found their way to me through last month.

Nitko sretniji od mene što se konačno rješavamo ovog srpnja! Prvog dana mjeseca izgubila sam tatu... no, već sam velika cura, ali isto trebam tatu. Tata već duugo živi u drugoj državi pa sam morala putovati na pogreb. Po dolasku doma čekalo me još jedno krasno iznenađenje - sin mi je dva puta u dva dana napadnut. Činilo mi se kao da se čitav svijet urotio da povrijedi mene ili moju obitelj...
No, kako to već biva, život neminovno ide dalje. Preživjela sam, kao i svaki put do sada. Srećom, ostatak mjeseca nije bio tako strašan. Uhvatila sam vremena i za shopping, za susrete s dragim ljudima, zabavu na koncertima...
Evo i stvarčica koje su pronašle put do mene.

Pink came first

Have you heard for 'saran wrap' manicure... or 'cling wrap' manicure? Probably... I like the way it looks so I just had to try it on my own. Here's my version of it:
Sigurno ste već vidjele ovakve manikure, ne znam niti kako da ih prevedem (manikure s najlonom ili ukrasnim papirom?). Meni se sviđa kako izgledaju pa sam morala i sama probati. Evo prvog pokušaja:

                               

I used China Glaze 'something sweet' and Aura 'Lotus Rouge' to create this. If you wondering how to do it, Lydz from Sekhmet's Purple Castle has made a nice tutorial for us all. It's fun to do it, and the result is so cool, at least - not an ordinary one polish manicure .

Upotrijebila sam China Glaza 'something sweet' i Aura 'Lotus Rouge' za manikuru. Ako se pitate kako je napraviti, Lydz s bloga Sekhmet's Purple Castle napravila je zgodan tutorijal za sve nas. Proces je zabavan a krajnji rezultat baš cool - bar nije obična jednobojna manikura .

This is it! Is it too much? I don't think so, some of these are going to be rearrange and get new owners, some of these can't be wear on its own... Now I know I don't need to get any polish I see, I'm more picky at what I want. And I still want so many of it! 
To vam je to! Previše? Ne bih rekla, neki od ovih će dobiti nove vlasnike, neki se niti ne mogu nositi samostalno... Sad znam da ne moram imati baš svaki lak koji vidim, izbirljiva sam. Ali još uvijek ih želim tako mnogo!

The last picture is a bit blurry, but the color is the most accurate on it.  

This is Aura 'Ikona' nail polish, lovely pink jelly with shimmer... it's still so odd to see shades like this on my nails so I added some nail art. It reminds me of fireworks... somehow. Would you agree?

Posljednja fotka je mutnjikava, ali je boja na njoj najtočnija. 

Ovo ja Aurina 'Ikona', slatka pink bojica, jelly lak sa shimmerom... još mi je uvijek čudno vidjeti ovakve boje na vlastitim noktima pa sam dodala malo nail arta koji me podsjeća na vatromet... ili nešto slično. Slažete se?

Hope you're all OK today, and this bad and cold weather won't harm your good will... or ability to polish your nails .   On the nails now...
Nadam se da ste mi svi dobro danas, i da ovo loše i hladno vrijeme neće utjecati na vašu dobru volju... ili sposobnost lakiranja noktiju . Na noktiće... 

The base color is Aura 'Dr Pink', darker version of hot pink color, two coats on my nails, jelly finish, I love the drying time... great polish indeed... except for this Perfect Matt sticker on it, it's not mat at all, but I don't mind. Then I thought about some french... but I couldn't decide for white or black, so I used both , even added some silver on it. 

I love how it's turned up... what do you think? 

Podloga je Aurin 'Dr Pink', nešto tamnija verzija hot pink boje, dva sloja na noktima, ima jelly finiš, vrijeme sušenja je apsolutno fantastično... ma super lak... osim ove glupe naljepnice Perfect Matt koja stvarno nema veze sa ovim lakom, doduše ni ne smeta mi. A onda mi je pao na pamet french... pa se nisam mogla odlučiti crni ili bijeli, i na kraju sam stavila oba , čak dodala i malo srebrne. 

Sviđa mi se kako je ispalo... a šta vi mislite?

First manicure in this year

After all the glitters, shimmers and extravagance it's time for one absolutely ordinary and simple manicure... it's time to be dull again .
Nakon svih onih glittera, blještavila i ekstravagancije vrijeme je za jednu sasvim običnu i jednostavnu manikuru... vrijeme je kad nam nokti opet mogu biti dosadni . 

Did I said dull, shame on me . This is my funky french mani for which I used Aura 'Lotus Rouge' nail polish in two coats, bought by my dad, thanks dad, and Color Club 'revvvolution' for french. 'Revvvolution' is a black holo polish, on the pics not so visible, again, shame on me... and 'Lotus Rouge' by Aura is my first encounter with this brand, and I must tell you that I'm pretty pleased by it, with only one remark - they put a 'perfect matt' sticker on this bottle, and this is two coats of it with no topcoat, so - no matt here at all, hello Aura . I love the color, it's really bloody red shade, had no problems with application, nice brush, drying time superb... great polish indeed. 
Rekla sam dosadni, sram me bilo . Ovo je moja funky french manikura, za koju sam koristila Aura 'Lotus Rouge' lak u dva sloja, kupio tata, hvala tata, i Color Club 'revvvolution' za french. 'Revvvolution' je crni holo lakić, na slikama holo baš i nije vidljiv, opet me sram... a 'Lotus Rouge' je moj prvi susret s Aura brandom, moram priznati da sam impresionirana, imam samo jednu primjedbu - na bočici je naljepnica 'perfect matt' a ovo su dva sloja bez nadlaka, prema tome - ništa od matiranog laka tu nema, zbilja Aura . Boja mi je super, krvavo crvena nijansa, nikakvih problema s nanošenjem, dobra četkica, iznenađujuće brzo sušenje... stvarno dobar lak.
Šteta što nitko od 'velikih faca' ne čita moj blog, da čita, tražila bih da od susjeda uvezu ovaj brand.
