Recently I got ten stamping image plates, BP-46 to BP-55, from BornPretty Store for a review. 

New stamping image plates from this brand are known worldwide, and you can see them on almost every polish-addicted blog. New edition is much better than the old plates, they're better and deeper engraved, their ends are polished and they have sticker on background.

NYC Strip Me Off vs. essence peel off base coat

Nedavno me draga Tanja obradovala slatkim paketićem, dijelom kojeg je bila i NYC Strip Me Off baza. Vidjela sam da je ona koristi kao pomoć pri čišćenju zanoktica kod štambiljanja. Naravno, morala sam je i sama isprobati u istu svrhu.

Danas sam radila suptilan gradijent... na kraju je ispao i previše suptilan te jedva zamjetan, no never mind. 

Prvo sam izabrala lakiće.

I did very subtle gradient... well, too subtle, but never mind.

Aren't these the sweetest bottles you've ever seen!? When I saw them on BornPretty Store site, I knew they'll be mine. I received this babies quite some times ago, and now it's time to show them properly.

Zar nisu najslađe bočice koje ste vidjeli!? Kad sam ih ugledala na BornPretty Store stranici, znala sam da će biti moje. Doputovale su pred neko vrijeme, a sad ih konačno pokazujem kako spada.

The formula of this polish is great! The brush is wide and it's very easy to work with it, the polish just glides on your nails and coverage is perfect after two coats. Drying time is pretty good too. 

Formula je predobra! Četkica je široka i lako je raditi s njom, a lak samo klizi preko noktiju i savršeno ih pokriva nakon dva sloja. Čak je i vrijeme sušenja prilično dobro.

Formula of blue polish is a bit thinner than the one in color lilac, so you'll need three coats for perfect coverage. Again, wide brush does all the work, drying time great.  

Both polishes are really shinny even without topcoat, but after taking the photos, I always put the topcoat on. I can say that the durability is pretty good, I'm wearing the blue for two days and I could take these photos today, the polish looks perfect. Although I choose these polishes because of their cute bottles, the quality of them is a great surprise! As for colors, I'm absolutely in love with this blue, it looks like perfect summer color! Ok, I love the lilac too... but the blue one just took my heart .

All colors from this line look great, they are bright and fun. The look of the bottle is great addition, but what impressed me the most is quality of these polishes. Formula plavog laka je malo rjeđa nego onog ljubičastog, pa će vam trebati tri sloja za savršeno pokrivanje. Opet široka četkica radi sav posao za vas, vrijeme sušenja super.

Oba su laka prilično sjajna i bez nadlaka, ali nakon što odradim fotkanje, uvijek stavim nadlak. Moram reći i da je trajnost baš dobra, plavac nosim već dva dana i slobodno sam mogla manikuru poslikati i danas, lak izgleda savršeno. Iako sam lakove izabrala primarno zbog bočica (plitka sam i padam na izgled ), kvaliteta je baš bila super iznenađenje! Što se tiče samih boja, apsolutno sam zaljubljena u ovu plavu, izgleda savršeno za ljeto! Ok, sviđa mi se i lila isto... ali plavac je osvojio moje srce .

Sve boje iz ove linije su krasne, vesele i jake. Izgled bočica je zgodan dodatak, ali ono što me zbilja impresioniralo je kvaliteta lakića. Odlično se slažu s mojim noktima. Uvijek sam za ovakva iznenađenja!

Does this manicure reminds you of textured nails? Wanna have effect like this without buying expensive polishes? Then let me tell you how, but hush, don't tell anyone .

First you apply the usual two coats of polish, in this case it was color lilac. When it's dried, apply one coat of any color, I used blue. Then press it with sponge, as simple as that. Some of wet polish will stay on your sponge, but some of it will stay on your nail creating the rough texture. If you want the stronger effect, apply one more coat of base color and press it with sponge. You can see that it's not just one color on nails, but you can't distinguish one from the other... and the texture will stay that way if you don't put topcoat on top. How does this sounds to you, will you try it?

Podsjeća li vas ova manikura na nove teksturne lakiće? Želite ovakav efekt i na svojim noktima bez kupovanja skupih lakova? Dopustite da vam kažem kako, ali pst, sačuvajte tajnu .

Za početak nalakirate uobićajena dva sloja laka, kod mene je to bio ljubičasti. Kad se osuši, stavite još jedan sloj u nekoj drugoj boji, ja sam stavila plavi. Onda ga pritisnete spužvom, tako jednostavno. Nešto mokrog laka ostat će na spužvi, ali nešto od njega će ostati i na noktu stvarajući grublju teksturu. Želite li jači efekt, nanesite još jedan sloj prvobitne boje i opet pritisnite sa spužvom. Možete jasno vidjeti da na noktu nije samo jedna boja, ali ne možete ih razlikovati... a tekstura će ostati ovakva ako ne stavite nadlak poviše. Kako vam ovo zvući, hoćete probati?

It's stamping time! I have one of big plates from Bornpretty Store, CK-04 by KandNail, with double sided stamper. Here's the plate:
Vrijeme za pečatiranje! Imam jednu od velikih ploča iz Bornpretty Store-a, CK-04 by KandNail, s dvostranim pečatom. Evo ploče:

Before starting to use plate, you have to remove the protective foil.

Prije upotrebe ploče, ne bi bilo loše odstraniti zaštitnu foliju.

And here's this double stamper comparing with one from Konad.

Evo i pečata u usporedbi s Konadovim.

Bigger side of double stamper is as big as on Konad's stamper...

Veća strana ovog duplog pečata je velika kao i ona na Konadovom pečatu...

while the other one is smaller, for easier placing of smaller designs. 

dok je drugi prilično manji, za lakše smještanje manjih uzoraka.

This is the scraper comparing with the one from Konad, which I strongly recommend not to use it.

Evo i strugalice s onom od Konada, a ja najtoplije preporučam da ne koristite ni jednu ni drugu.

These are much better solutions. Why? Because of this:

Ovo su puno bolja rješenja. Zašto? E pa zbog ovog:

On upper phoro is my very first Konad plate... all scratched from Konad scraper. On lower photo is plate with my favorite design, looks brand new because I stop using metal scraper and switch to plastic one... or an old credit card.

Na gornjoj fotki je moja prva Konad pločica... sva izgrebana od Konadove strugalice. Na donjoj fotki je pločica s mojim najdražim dizajnom, izgleda sasvim nova jer sam odustala od metalnih strugalica i prebacila se na plastičnu... ili na staru karticu. 

First thing I've noticed about this plate is, of course, the size. It looks so small! This is it with Dashica's big plate SdP-I, which has the same number of patterns. 

Prva stvar koju sam primjetila u svezi pločice je, naravno, veličina. Izgleda tako mala! Evo je s Dashicinom pločom SdP-I, koja ima isti broj uzoraka. 

This is stamping on paper... I know it's messy, I've really tried, this was the third paper, but I must draw line somewhere. Because the patterns are so close to each other the stamper gets the ones around one you want... other than that, all the patterns are working, even the ones with tiniest lines. I thought I'll have problem with stamping the designs, because they really look so small, but here's the surprise - my nail plate is also small! Ok, my nails are short at the time, but I can't help it. Only nails on middle finger and on the thumb needed to be stamped twice, I even turned the pattern for better result. 

Ovo su bili otisci na papiru... znam da je neuredno, stvarno sam se trudila, ovo je već treći papir ali negdje sam morala stati. Zato jer su uzorci tako blizu jedni drugima stamper uhvati i susjede od onog kojeg želite... osim toga, svi uzorci se otiskuju bez problema, čak i oni s najtanjim linijama. Mislila sam da ću baš zbog veličine imati problema s pečatiranjem, ali eto iznenađenja - većina ploča nokta kod mene su zbilja  male! Još su mi nokti kratki, ali tu sad nema pomoći. Samo nokti na srednjaku i palcu zahtijevali su dupli otisak, čak sam i okrenula uzorak da bi to izgledalo bolje.

These leafs are one of the most beautiful patterns on this plate, such a delicate lines, love it .

Ovo lišće je jedan od najljepših uzoraka na ploči, i tako finih linja, obožavam ga .

See, the pattern on the middle ring is rotated and stamped twice, otherwise it would be too small.

Vidite, uzorak na srednjaku je zarotiran i oštampan dva puta, inaće bi bio premalen.

This one is a bit smeared, but you won't mind, wont you .
Ovaj je zamrljan, ali neće vam previše smetati, nadam se .

To conclude: although this plate and patterns on it looks small, if you have small nail plate it'll fit you. But if you have long nails, and you don't want to bother with double stamping on one nail, you better skip this one. The double sided stamper is awesome, especially when you have smaller pattern, it's so much easier to place them exactly where you want. As for scraper... I strongly recommend you to use plastic instead metal, that will keep your image plates in better condition.

I da zaključim: iako i ploča i uzorci zbilja izgledaju mali, sitnijim noktima će pristajati. Ali ako imate duge nokte, i ne želite se zamarati duplim pečatiranjem na jednom noktu, možda bi bilo bolje da ovo preskočite. Dvostruki pečat je jako praktičan, naročito kad želite sitniji uzorak smjestiti baš tamo gdje vi želite. Što se tiče strugalice... savjetujem vam da koristite plastični umjesto metalnog, to će sačuvati vaše pločice u boljem stanju.
