July in pictures

Hi there!

No one happier from me that this month is finally over! On first day of July I lost my dad... well, I'm a big girl now, but I still want my dad. He lived in another country for a long time, so I had to travel to a funeral. When I got home, another lovely surprise waited for me - my son was physically attacked two times in two days. It seemed like the whole world was conspiring to hurt me or my family... 

But, life goes on. I survived, like so many times before. Luckily, the rest of this month wasn't so bad. I even had some time for shopping, seeing some dear people, enjoy myself at concerts... 

These are the things that found their way to me through last month.

Nitko sretniji od mene što se konačno rješavamo ovog srpnja! Prvog dana mjeseca izgubila sam tatu... no, već sam velika cura, ali isto trebam tatu. Tata već duugo živi u drugoj državi pa sam morala putovati na pogreb. Po dolasku doma čekalo me još jedno krasno iznenađenje - sin mi je dva puta u dva dana napadnut. Činilo mi se kao da se čitav svijet urotio da povrijedi mene ili moju obitelj...
No, kako to već biva, život neminovno ide dalje. Preživjela sam, kao i svaki put do sada. Srećom, ostatak mjeseca nije bio tako strašan. Uhvatila sam vremena i za shopping, za susrete s dragim ljudima, zabavu na koncertima...
Evo i stvarčica koje su pronašle put do mene.

Matching Manicure Sunday #12 - Snow Manicure

Maybe you know, maybe you don't, this sunday balkanic beauty bloggers are wearing snow manicures. Just to let you know, I'm not an exception.
Možda znate, možda ne, ali ove nedjelje balkanske beauty blogerice nose sniježne manikure. I da znate i to da nisam ni ja iznimka. 

See, it's so cold outside that even the penguins are wearing scarfs and hats . Still no snow, but thanks, we don't need it here. 

This manicure looks kinda like my last one... couldn't help it, my hands grabbed these polishes and I was helpless. I used: L'OREAL 'rebel blue', Misslyn 703 'crackling silver' and China Glaze 'snow' for snowflakes, everything sealed with essence fast dry topcoat. The winter is coming... but we have to wait till spring to see new episodes of 'Game of thrones' . How about that mr. Martin, is he writing any new pages? Hope he does . 

Anyway, let's check out what the other girls have done, I bet they were busy too.

Vani je tako hladno da su čak i pingvini izvukli šalove i kape . Još uvijek nema snijega, ali hvala lijepa, mi ga tu ni ne trebamo.

Manikura podsjeća na moju posljednju... nije do mene, ruke su odmah poletjele i uhvatile ove lakove, bez da me itko išta pitao. Koristila sam: L'OREAL 'rebel blue', Misslyn 703 'crackling silver' i China Glaze 'snow' za pahuljice, sve zatvoreno essenceovim brzosušećim nadlakom. Zima stiže... ali ćemo morati sačekati do proljeća da vidimo nove epizode 'Igre prijestolja' . Što mislite o barba Martinu, piše li nove stranice? Nadam se da da .

Nego, idemo provjeriti i što su druge cure napravile, kladim se da su i one bile vrijedne.

Fireball from above

I decided yesterday that I'm done with being sick... so when I wake up, I put my make up, took a walk on a sunshine, did my nails, clean my house... I even enjoyed washing dishes (which I usually hate), but it's great when you can do everything you want, even if that's such an annoying thing as washing dishes. It's really cool when you feel fine !

Anyway, the choice was made, I decided to wear this polish:

Jučer sam odlučila da je dosta bolovanja... pa kad sam se probudila posegnula sam za make-upom, prošetala se po suncu, sredila si nokte, počistila kuću... uživala sam čak i u pranju suđa (koje obično mrzim), ali je super kad možete napraviti sve što hoćete, makar to bila tako dosadna stvar kao što je pranje suđa. Baš je super kad se osjećate dobro !

Nego, izbor je pao na ovaj lak:

This is Misslyn 'dazzling water' from 'velvet diamond' collection. On photos you see two coats, no topcoat, all of them taken in the shade. First thing that crossed my mind when I opened the bottle was - China Glaze Prismatic collection! To be more specific - Optical Illusion from that line. Optical Illusion has more colors inside, but it's basically the same stuff. Unlike China Glaze, this polish doesn't dry that fast, some half hour after it's still soft when you press and push, so please don't do that. Don't cry, that can be fixed with one coat of speed dry top coat, but I like to take my swatches without it. Beside that, this polish is just great. Like all glitters it's kinda rough but I just love that. The color is great, aqua blue/green with tons of silver and teal glitters, and it doesn't need a lot of light to see it shining. If you ask me - great summery polish!

But it needs something little extra to be even prettier!

Ovo je Misslyn 'dazzling water' iz 'velvet diamond' kolekcije. Na fotkama su dva sloja, bez nadlaka, a sve iz hlada. Prva stvar koja mi je pala na pamet kad sam otvorila bočicu bila je - China Glaze Prismatic kolekcija! Ili još bolje - Optical Illusion iz te linije. Optical Illusion u sebi ima više boja, ali u osnovi ovo je ista stvar. Za razliku od China Glaze laka, ovaj se ne suši tako sjajno, čak i nakon pola sata lak je još mekan kad ga pritisnete i gurnete pa savjetujem izbjegavanje takvih radnji. Ali ne morate odmah plakati, to se da rješiti slojem brzosušećeg nadlaka, no ja uvijek swatcham lakove bez njega. Osim toga, lak je zbilja krasan. Kao svi glitteri, malo je hrapav na dodir, ali meni se to sviđa. Boja je super, vodena zelena/plava s tonom srebrnog i tirkiznog glittera  i ne treba joj puno da zabljesne. Ako mene pitate - savršen ljetni izbor!

Ali trebalo je još nešto da bude čak i ljepši!

That's why I added an accent nail, I tried to paint burning sun, because it's really hot outside. All I can say in my defense - it's really boring to have just one color on nails . You'll forgive me for slightly tip-wear, these photos are taken this morning and I wanted to insert some sunny pictures to show you the polish in his fully shine.

I tako sam dodala i akcent nokat, pokušala nacrtati goruće sunce, jer je vani zbilja vruće. Sve što mogu reći u svoju obranu je - meni je jednostavno dosadno imati samo jednu boju na noktima . Oprostit ćete mi za diskretnu izlizanost na vrhovima, zadnje fotke su jutrošnje a htjela sam ubaciti koju sunčanu fotografiju da vidite lak u punom sjaju.

Interlock tutorial

Some of you asked me how I did that red-white interlock manicure the other day. If you don't know how to do it, this may help you .
Neke od vas su me pitale kako sam napravila onu crveno-bijelu interlock manikuru od pred neki dan. Za one koje ne znaju a žele znati, ovo vam može pomoći .

First you have to polish your nails, choose what ever color you want. My choice was Misslyn'greenwood', dark deep green color with tiny lighter shimmer. Unfortunately, on sunday,  when I applied it, there was no sun outside .
Prvo trebate nalakirati nokte, uzmite boju koju god želite. Moj izbor je ovaj put Misslyn 'greenwood', tamno zelena sa sićušnim svjetlijim shimmerom. Na nesreću, u nedjelju, od kad nosim ovaj lak, nije bilo sunca . 

On pics two coats, no topcoat. I don't know about you, but I just love these kind of shades .  

We'll proceed with the other color, you're free to take which ever you want. With it, cover a part of your base color. 

Na fotkama su dva sloja, bez nadlaka. Ne znam za vas, ali ja baš vooooolim ovakve boje . 

Nastavit ćemo s drugom bojom, sloboda izbora je vaša. S njom ćete pokriti dio bazne boje.

Then, take your dotting tool, or what ever you're using for that purpose, and make dots on the top of your second color. Don't put them too close, make a space between them, approximately the size of dots. Now your mani will look like this:

Zatim, uzmite svoju točkalicu, ili što već koristite u tu svrhu, i napravite točke na vrhu druge boje. Nemojte ih natiskati jednu do druge, ostavite mjesta između njih, otprilike onoliko kolika je veličina točke. U ovom stadiju manikura će izgledati ovako:

And for the final step, make a dots with your base color, slightly down on your second color and in between first dots.
I za kraj, napravite točke s baznom bojom, smjestite ih malo niže od ruba druge boje i između prvih točkica.

Your mani is now looking like this:
Vaša manikura sad izgleda otprilike ovako:

But I didn't stop there, I made one more layer on my middle finger's nails.
Ali ja nisam stala tu, napravila sam još jedan sloj na noktu srednjeg prsta.

Golden leaf

I'm done with olives... at least for this year . Now my nails looking like this (even worst because there's no sun outside, it's raining today):
Gotova sam s maslinama... bar za ovu godinu . Sad mi nokti izgledaju ovako (na fotkama i gore zbog vremena, danas pada kiša):

My cuticles are ruined, nail on my index finger is broken but I can't cut the rest of nails, I just don't want to!  But I have this extraordinary polish to comfort me . This is Misslyn 537 'golden leaf', dark green with lot of  golden shimmer, on pics two coats, no topcoat, except on my index finger. You can see how the shimmer is more visible with topcoat, and the polish is more shiny... so, this one looks better with topcoat. I love this kind of polishes, do you? This one reminded me of 'snakeskin' by Color Club, they look similar in the bottles but on nails the difference is more visible, snakeskin is much more grey. 

Are you ready for more greens? From pre-olives time . I just have to make my untried bunch of polishes smaller! 

Zanoktice su mi uništene, nokat na kažiprstu slomljen, ali neću skratiti ostatak noktiju, ne mogu i ne želim  (makar me se ostatak blogerske zajednice odrekao). Zato imam ovog krasotana da me tješi . On je Misslyn 'golden leaf', tamno zelena s tonom shimmera, na fotkama u dva sloja, bez nadlaka, osim na kažiprstu. Možete vidjeti kako je shimmer vidljiviji s nadlakom, a lak je sjajniji... znači, ovaj puno bolje izgleda s nadlakom. Sviđaju mi se ovakvi lakići, a vama? Isprva me podsjetio na 'snakeskin' od Color Club-a, u bočicama čak izgledaju slično, ali na noktima ne, 'snakeskin' ima totalno sivu bazu. 

Jeste spremne za još malo zelenila? Iz predmaslinskog vremena . Moram smanjiti svoju hrpicu neisprobanih lakića! 

This is Kiko 'dark green', on pics two coats, no topcoat. See how glossy it is, love it! It's almost one coater, but I applied two, just to be safe. Gorgeous creme, lovely color, nice drying time, glossy finish... love it! 

A ovo je Kiko 'dark green', na fotkama u dva sloja, bez nadlaka. Vidite kako je sjajan, krasotan! Gotovo da je i jedan sloj bio dovoljan, ali sam što za svaki slučaj, što iz navike stavila dva. Krasan krem lakić, super boja, dobro se suši, sjajan finiš... moj je!

Essence Season Of Extremes collection, 'we are all bright'. I don't have words to describe this beauty... awesome color, glossy finish, perfect application... on pics two coats, no topcoat. I really love it! This reminded me of Essence 'bella' but this one is more green than 'bella'. 

Essence Season Of Extremes kolekcija, 'we are all bright'. Nemam riječi za opisat ovu ljepotu... krasna boja, sjajan finiš, savršeno nanošenja... na fotkama su dva sloja, bez nadlaka. Obožavam ga! Podsjetio me na 'bellu', također Essence, ali ovaj je zeleniji od 'belle'. 

And this happens when you add the pinkish shimmer which is on the other side of bottle. I didn't think I'll like it this way but it actually looks great, especially in the shade, where the shimmer is more visible. I just don't know why I waited few months to try this polish on... there must be something wrong with me .  

Three different shade of greens and I can't decide which one I love more. Can you?

Eto što se dogodi kad dodate i ljubičasto-rozi shimmer koji je na drugom kraju bočice. Nisam mislila da će mi se i ovakav svidjeti, ali zapravo super izgleda, naročito u sjeni, gdje je shimmer vidljiviji nego na suncu. Ne znam samo zašto sam čekala mjesecima da bih isprobala ovaj lak... sigurno nešto nije u redu sa mnom .

Tri različite nijanse zelenih, a ja ne mogu odlučiti koja mi je draža. Možete li vi?
