Matching Manicure Sunday #7 - Halloween

Hi there!

My dear girls, the olives have ruined my nails completely . Once again, they're super short... but the manicure is still here. This week theme is - Halloween .

Drage moje, masline su mi sasvim uništile nokte . Opet su na minimalcu... ali manikuru sam ipak napravila. Ovaj tjedan tema je - Halloween .

The idea was super simple, because I'm too tired these days - I painted my nails with deBBy colorPLAY 186, then sponged randomly with China Glaze 'ick-a-body'. The eyes are painted with white acrylic paint, and finished with Chanel 'black satin'. At the end I put the essence 'glow in the night' top coat... but unfortunately my camera misbehaved and no evidence of it. The manicure was done last night, the pics taken this morning, maybe that's why you can see some tip-wear on my nails. 

Now, let's go and see what the other girls have done:

Ideja je jako jednostavna jer sam ovih dana zbilja umorna - nalakirala sam nokte s deBBY colorPLAY 186, onda tek takla nokte spužvicom i China Glaze 'ick-a-body'. Oči su nacrtane bijelom akrilnom bojicom, pa dovršene Chanel-ovim 'black satin. Na kraju sam stavila i essence-ov 'glow in the night' nadalka... ali aparat nije htio slušati pa nemam nikakvih dokaza o tome. Manikuru sam napravila sinoć, pofotkala je jutros, možda je zato uočljiva lagana izlizanost na vrhovima.

Halloween Nail Art Challenge - My choice

Happy Pumpkin Day  boys and girls! Are you ready for tonight? I am... almost .

As for the manicure... I just knew I want to wear China Glaze's 'ick-a-bod-y' or 'it's alive'. I ended up with 'ick-a-bod-y', which is awesome polish, but not so great if you want to do some stamping. I tried with black, on my right hand, but it's hardly visible so I switched to white... I'm not too happy with this manicure, but I have tons of work today so I'll be wearing it after all.
Sretan vam Dan bundeva  dragi moji ! Spremni za večeras? Ja jesam... skoro .
Što se tiče manikure... znala sam samo da će lak biti China Glaze 'ick-a-bod-y' ili 'it's alive'. Na kraju sam se odlučila za 'ick-a-bod-y' koji je fantastičan lak, ali ne tako sjajan ako ćete raditi stamping preko njega. Pokušala sam s crnom, na desnoj ruci, i bila je jedva vidljiva pa sam se prebacila na bijelu... Baš i nisam presretna s konačnim rezultatom, ali čeka me još tona posla pa ću ovu manikuru ipak zadržati. 

They all came - the bats, the witch with her cat, the spiders, one noisy ghost, I even have a spiderweb on my thumb, it can't get more halloween-ish than this . I love this polish, it's pure perfection in a bottle .
What do you think, is this manicure good enough for Halloween?
This is the last day of Halloween Nail Art Challenge. I'm kinda sad, but I'm so glad I participated in it, because the Halloween time is awesome as inspiration for nail art. I'm sure next year we all be better than this one .
Svi su došli - vještica s mačkom, šišmiši, pauci, jedan bučan duh, na palcu imam čak i paučinu, ma ne može biti halloween-skije od ovog ! Obožavam ovaj lak, čisto savršenstvo u bočici .
Što vi mislite, je li ova manikura dovoljno dobra za Halloween?
Ovo je i posljednji dan Halloween Nail Art Izazova. Kao svi krajevi i ovaj sa sobom nosi dozu sjete ali mi je drago što sam sudjelovala jer je Halloween fantastična inspiracija za nail art. Uvjerena sam da dogodine sve budemo još i bolje .

When I saw this contest on The Manicured Monkey  blog, I just have to do something about it . I love Halloween manicures, in fact Halloween is the time of the year when I have the most inspiration. Here's what I came up to:
Kad sam vidjela ovo natjecanje na The Manicured Monkey blogu, morala sam napraviti nešto u svezi toga . Volim Halloweenske manikure, u stvari, to je doba godine kad imam najviše inspiracije. I evo do čega sam došla:

Tim Burton's 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' is one of the best animated movies ever! No wonder I choose Jack and Sally. And what I used for this manicure:
Tim Burtonova 'Noćna mora prije Božića' je jedan od najboljih animiranih filmića ikad! Nije ni čudo da sam se odlučila za Jacka i Sally. A da ne nabrajam sve što mi je bilo potrebno...

Do you have plans for today? We're going to light up the candles, eat popcorn and watch some scary movies... after all, I'm an old woman . But that won't keep me from polishing my nails... and some other's... if I had a chance. The only thing I regret is that I didn't start to do Halloween manis earlier, I didn't had the time to do everything I wanted... but next year I'll be smarter... maybe. 
Since it's a pumpkin day, I have pumpkins on my nails . I'm pretty happy with the way it looks, only had trouble with the pictures, because of the thick layer of acrylic paint... didn't think in advance, there should be white paint under neat... There's just one more thing, and it's worrying me... I draw better with left hand... this time my left looks so bad that I even don't wont to bother my self with showing it. Blah, blah, blah... let's see the pictures.
Imate li već kakve planove za danas? Mi doma palimo svijeće, jedemo kokice i uživamo u hororima... ipak sam ja već stara žena . Ali to me neće spriječiti da i dalje lakiram nokte... čak i tuđe... ako imam priliku. Jedino mi je žao što nisam ranije počela s Halloween manikurama, ovako nisam stigla odraditi sve što sam namjeravala... ma dogodine ću biti pametnija... valjda.
Kad je već dan bundeva, naravno da ih imam na noktima . Baš sam zadovoljna kako izgledaju, jedini problem pri fotkanju mi je predstavljao debeli sloj akrilne boje, kad se već pametnica nisam sjetila da kao podlogu stavim bijelu boju... I još me nešto brine... ne mogu vjerovati kako mi crtanje bolje ide s lijevom rukom, ovaj put mi lijeva ruka izgleda puno lošije tako da se uopće neću gnjaviti s pokazivanjem tih fotki. Bla, bla, bla... 'ajmo mi na slike.

 

I used a 'Sleep-walker' from last year's Wet'n'Wild Halloween collection as a base, the rest are acrylic paints. Hope you gonna like it as much as I do. 

Since I have the best audience in the whole wide world, I have a bonus picture for you, I did spiders on my niece's nails. Not quite satisfied with them, but  it could be worst . 
Kao baza mi je poslužio 'Sleep-walker' iz prošlogodišnje Halloween kolekcije Wet'n'Wilda, ostatak su akrilne boje. Nadam se da vam se sviđaju kao i meni.
Kako već imam najbolju publiku na svijetu, imam i bonus fotku za vas, nećakinji sam nacrtala paukiće. Nisam baš sasvim zadovoljna, ali mogli su biti i gori .

If spiders looked like this, I wouldn't be scared of it at all .
Da bar pauci izgledaju ovako, ne bih ih se uopće užasavala .

Jack Skellington

Hi my friends!

This was supposed to be Jack Skellington, the king of the Halloweentown... but unfortunately it doesn't look so great. From the distance, my nails are super cool, but they don't look like Jack Skellington .
This is very simple manicure, I used only two polishes - black and white, dotting tool and tip painter. I'll let you to judge - thumb up or down .
Ovo je trebao biti Jack Skellington, kralj Halloween grada... ali na moju nesreću baš i ne liči na njega. Iz daleka, moji nokti izgledaju baš cool... ali ne kao Jack Skellington .
U biti, radi se o vrlo jednostavnoj manikuri za koju sam koristila samo dva laka, točkalicu i tanki kistić. Puštam vas da odlučite - palac gore ili dolje .
