Magic Purple to Blue Sky

Few days ago I received a small package from Born Pretty Store, containing this polish. It's Magic Purple/Blue Sky Color Changing Nail Polish #7, and it comes in a cute box.

When I opened the bottle, inside was a purple polish, although the rest of the bottle looks almost blue.
Kad sam otvorila bočicu, iznenadila me ljubičasta boja, iako ostatak boce izgleda gotovo sasvim plavo.

When I applied it on my nails it was purple, but as it dries, it turns blue, because my hands are warm. So, the purple color for cold, and blue for warm. After the polish was dry, I put my hands in a cold water... and it turned purple again!
Na noktima je bio ljubičast, ali kako se sušio pretvarao se u plavu, jer su mi ruke tople. Dakle, ljubičasta za hladno a plava za toplo. Nakon što se lak osušio, stavila sam ruke u hladnu vodu... i eto opet ljubičaste boje!

See, while drying the color changes from purple to lovely baby blue. It was really fun to watch the change of colors, I put my hands in water over and over again... such a kid I am . 

The polish is kinda watery. I have two coats on these pics, but it looks like I could put one more. It dries pretty fast, and it dries matt so I applied a top coat over it. It has no smell at all, and I'm guessing this is some kind of water based polish, the inscription is in Chinese so there's no much use of it. It hardly survived 24 hours on my nails, but all together - I'm so happy to have this polish in my collection, it's so much fun to play with it, and I'll have to get my hands on at least one more color.  I'm so sorry I didn't take a picture of my nails after eating ice cream... they were all purple, dark purple, that cold was that ice cream and my hands with it .

Vidite, dok se sušio boja se mjenjala iz ljubičaste u krasnu baby plavu. Baš je bilo zabavno gledati promjenu boje, pa sam više puta ruku stavljala u vodu... baš sam dijete .

Lak je nekako vodenast. Na fotkama imam dva sloja, ali se vidi da još jedan ne bi naškodio. Suši se prilično brzo, i suši se mat pa sam stavila i nadlak preko. Uopće nema mirisa, pa pretpostavljam da je ovo lak na nekakvoj vodenoj bazi, natpis je na kineskom i nema koristi od njega. Jedva je preživio 24 sata na mojim noktima, ali sve u svemu - baš mi je drago što je ovakav 'komad' u mojoj kolekciji, strašno je zabavno igrati se s njim, i sve mi se čini da ću se morati dočepati barem još jedne boje. Žao mi je jedino što se nisam sjetila pofotkati nokte nakon sladoleda... bili su tamno ljubičasti, tako je hladan bio i sladoled i moje ruke s njim .

Rock star... second chance

Prvi put kad sam nosila ovaj lak nisam dobila ono što sam očekivala... nije promijenio boju na suncu... pa sam odlučila pružiti mu drugu šansu. I drago mi je da jesam . To je Del Sol 'Rock Star' lakić, prekrasna plava boja sa sitnim glitterom.  
The first time I wear this polish I didn't get what I expected... it didn't change the color on the sun... so I decided to give it a second chance. And I'm glad because of it. It's Del Sol nail polish 'Rock Star', lovely blue color with tiny glitters.

Jedva da se vidi promjena boje, i s te strane, bio je razočaranje. Druga stvar koja me smeta je činjenica da trebate barem četiri sloja a on je ipak još proziran. Ali, volim ga zato jer se super brzo suši, četiri sloja bez brzosušećeg nadlaka bila su suha brže nego što bi neki lakovi u dva sloja. A to mu je veeeeeeliki plus. A ni boja uopće nije loša. Onda sam krenula u istraživanje problema s mjenjanjem boje... evo i mog ekperimenta.  

You can hardly see change of color, and from that point of view, It was disappointing. Another thing that bothers me it's the fact that this polish needs four coats and it's still a bit sheer. But, I love it because it dries super fast, four coats with no top coat were dried before some nail polishes with two coats. That's super big plus in my book. And color itself it's not bad at all.  I tried to investigate what's the problem with this polish... and this is my experiment. 

Prva fotka u sjeni, druga na suncu. Brojevi ispod označavaju broj slojeva laka. Vidite, nema problema s mjenjanjem boje kad je lak nanešen u jednom ili dva sloja, ali tri sloja i preko, jednostavno je previše. Dakle, lak ipak radi ono što bi trebao ali ne baš onako kako bih ja to željela. Na kraju sam dodala i mali uzrorak, s Born preatty pločice M71.

First picture in the shade, second in the sun. The numbers bellow polish are the numbers of coats. See, no problems with coat or two, but three coat and up it can't change the color, it's just too much. So, the polish works but not the way that would make me happy. For the end, I added some stamping from Born preatty image plate M71. 

Uzorak je slabo vidljiv zbog glittera, ali meni se isto sviđa. 
I sestra mi je bila u posjeti pa smo se malo zaigrale s lakovima... zaželjela je baš ovakvu manikuru. 
The stamping is hardly visible because of the glitter, but I like it anyway.
My sister was here, we enjoy ourself with polishes... she wanted mani just like this. 

Mrzim je, pogledajte samo njene nokte - prirodni i tako dugi , ali ja imam puno više lakova od nje. 
Koja se vama manikura više sviđa?   
I hate her, look at her nails, natural and so long . But, I have much more polishes than her .

Del sol - rock star

Hi girls!

Na dolasku kući dočekao me paketić :-D Požurila sam s otvaranjem (naravno, prije svega drugog) i oduševila se ugledavši svoj 'del sol' lakić. Isti tren me prošla i glad i žeđ te sam se bacila na skidanje starog laka i isprobavanje novog :-D U bočici izgleda fenomenalno - tamno plavi sa šljokicama... nakon prvog poteza slijedi razočaranje, lak je jaaaaaako proziran i potrebna su barem 3 sloja da na nešto liči, no da divno čudo nisam imala problema sa sušenjem, nisam stavila nadlak da mu to ne smetalo u transformaciji. Eh, a onda sam požurila na balkon hvatati sunce... i pogledajte što sam uhvatila.

On arriving home I saw package :-D I hurried to open it (of course, before anything else) and I was thrilled to the sight of 'del sol' nail polish. Instantly, I wasn't hungry of thirsty anymore, so I just removed old polish and tried new one :-D In the bottle it looks fantastic - dark blue with glitters... wich turns in disappointment, it's so sheer and requires at least 3 coats, but surprisingly have no problems with drying, I didn't put topcoat in fear for transformation. I rushed to the balcony to catch the sun... and look what I caught.

Vidite li vi tu neku razliku? Ma vidi se šipak a ne promjena boje :-p

Ok, na uputama piše da što je sunce odnosno uv zračenje jače, boja se brže mjenja i da najbolje rezultate daju ljeti... ne preostaje mi ništa drugo nego čekati ljeto :-/ Još kad se sjetim da ne volim ljeto...

See the difference? You don't see nothing of changing the color :-p
Ok, the site says that the sun or uv rays are stronger, the colors are changing more rapidly and that the best results are obtained in the summer... well, now I'm gonna wait for the summer :-/ And when I remember that I don't like summer...
