Polishes with The Mission

Hi there!

Here comes one truly autumnal polish - Catrice 'In The Bronx'.
Evo jedne zbilja jesenske bojice odnosno laka - Catrice 'In The Bronx'.

On pics I'm wearing two coats, no topcoat, first two taken in the sun, the last two in the shade. 'In The Bronx' is golden-brown shimmery polish with pretty good formula, great brush and decent drying time. Not a bad looking at all, but my skin-tone doesn't like it. 

Trust me when I say that this is no ordinary polish, this polish has a mission, he wants to travel the world. And he has a friend with same wish - Orly 'hook up'. I already shown that one on the blog, but you can handle it one more time.
Na fotkama nosim dva sloja, bez nadlaka, prve dvije uhvaćene na suncu, posljednje dvije u hladu. 'In The Bronx' je zlatno-smeđi shimmery lak neloše formule, super četkice i pristojnog vremena sušenja. Uopće nije loš, ali mom se tenu ne sviđa.
Vjerujte mi kad kažem da ovo nije obićan lak, ovaj lak je na misiji, sa željom da putuje svijetom. Ima i prijatelja koji djeli istu želju - Orly 'hook up'. Njega sam već pokazala na blogu, ali šta smeta ako ga vidite još jednom. 

These polishes came to me from Illy, she came up with this great idea. You can see her swatches here and here. I loved the idea... still love it, it's only that I kept the polishes too long and I'm ashamed . But you'll all forgive me, wan't you .

These polishes are not for you, they have already gone... to Ukraine, to lovely Irina. She was my commentator of the month for September. I know she has a weak spot in her heart for blue and glitter polishes so I chose these for her. Hope she'll like them. 

Ovi lakići pak nisu za Vas, već su otišli... čak do Ukrajine, do drage Irine. Ona je bila najkomentator za rujan. Znam da je slaba na plavce i šljokice pa sam ove izabrala za nju. Nadam se da će biti zadovoljna mojim izborom.

Hooked up

Hi there!

While I'm waiting for sun to change its position so I can open my window and return to funny business of painting my room, let me show you one swatch, from the march .

Dok čekam da Sunce promijeni položaj da mogu otvoriti prozor i vratiti se super zabavnom poslu bojenja svoje sobe, stignem vam pokazati jedan stari swatch, čak iz ožujka .

This is Orly 'Hooked Up', shimmery pearly yellow shade. On pics you see three coats without topcoat. The formula is great, brush won't make you any problem, drying time is ok... it's only the weak pigmentation that bothers me, even after three coats I can still see my nail line, not so much in rl as in pictures but still. It's hard to find the yellow that suits me, this is obviously not my type. I won this polish on Illy's Girl stuff blog giveaway, otherwise it would never been a part of my collection. Maybe I should try layering over some color?

Ovo je Orly 'Hooked Up', shimmerasta žuta nijansa bisernog finiša. Na fotkama vidite tri sloja bez nadlaka. Formula je super, ni četkica vam neće praviti probleme, vrijeme sušenja sasvim pristojno... jedina slaba strana mu je prozirnost, čak i nakon tri sloja još uvijek vidim liniju nokta, doduše manje uživo nego na fotkama, ali ipak. Teško mi je pronaći žutu koja mi odgovara, ni ova očito nije moj tip. Lak sam osvojila na darivanju na Illynom Girl stuff blogu, inaće ne vjerujem da bi se našao u mojoj kolekciji. Možda bih trebala probati kako izgleda preko neke boje?

Imate li i vi koji lak koji vam se sviđa ali baš vam ne stoji?

Hi there!

Wearing yellow polish instantly reminded me of yellow people - The Simpsons! So I challenged myself to try to do something about it. You know what, it's good enough to let you see it .
Žuti lak na noktima odmah me podsjetio na žute ljude - Simpsone! Pa sam sama sebe izazvala da pokušam nešto i napraviti na tu temu. I znate što, dovoljno je dobro da vam to i pokažem .

Honestly, I'm so proud of myself! In real life this looks even better. The yellow polish is Orly 'hooked up', but you'll hear more of it some other time. 

In meantime, tell me, what do you think of my Simpsons!?

Iskreno, baš sam ponosna na sebe! Uživo ovo izgleda i bolje nego na ekranu. Žuti lakić je Orly 'hooked up', ali o njemu ćete više ćuti neki drugi put.

If you think that Essence is my favorite brand, you're guessing right! This is the biggest part of my stash.
