4 Elements Nail Challenge - Earth

Hi my friends!

The second manicure in one day... I'm busy little bee . This one is for the last day of '4 Elements Nail Challenge' with 'earth' theme. In Croatian the 'earth' means not just our planet, but the soil too. So I couldn't make up my mind what to do, where to go... Considering Taya's picture for this challenge, I think she had the planet on her minds. So, the planet it will be .
Druga manikura danas... uh, koja sam ja vridnica . Ova je za posljednji dan '4 Elements Nail Challenge' s temom 'zemlja'. Vi znate da riječ zemlja ne znači nužno i planet, već i tlo, pa sam se bacila na razmišljanje što i kako napraviti... na kraju, imajući u vidu Tayinu fotku, sve je ukazivalo na to da je ona mislila na Zemlju. Pa, neka bude Zemlja .

On middle finger is planet Earth, floating in the space. If  it wasn't for those clouds you could see Mediterian Sea with European and African coast. On ring finger you can see Italian boot with white Alps, on the rest of the nails random coast... cloudy . Not bad, but it looked better in my head. And these were my little helpers... I can't believe myself, this Essence beauty - 'midnight date' waited for months to be worn, shame!
Na srednjem prstu bi trebala biti Zemlja, pluta u svemiru. Da nije tako oblačno mogli biste vidjeti Mediteransko more s Afričkom i Europskom obalom. Na prstenjaku se vidi talijanska čizma s bijelim Alpama, na ostatku noktiju nasumične obale... oblačno . Nije loše, ali je u glavi izgledalo bolje. A evo i mojih pomagača... Ne vjerujem sama sebi, Essenceov 'midnight date' je mjesecima čekao na prvo lakiranje, sramim se!

4 Elements Nail Challenge - Air

Hi my friends!

Today I'm gonna escape from Halloween themes... but I'll stick with blue tones . My very first association on word 'air' is clear blue sky, ok, I'll allow a few fluffy, but strictly pure white clouds - as simple as that! So is my manicure.
Danas malo bježim od Halloweenskih tema... ali još se uvijek držim plavih tonova . Prvo što mi padne na pamet kad čujem riječ 'zrak' je čisto plavo nebo, ok, dozvoljavam i koji pahuljasti ali čisto bijeli oblačak - tako jednostavno! Takva je i moja manikura.

I'm sorry only that it's too late for outside pics, I've been busy all day, running here and there... but these will have to do. It's a change after all those darker manicures, and I absolutely love it! Hope you'll feel the same . For curious among you, I used 3 blue shades, white nail polish and a piece of sponge for this manicure.    
I'll be checking what the other participants from this challenge have done... you may do the same.
Žao mi je jedino što nisam stigla fotke poslikati vani jer je već debelo mrak. Bila sam zauzeta čitav dan, trčanjem 'vamo i tamo... ali morat ćemo se zadovoljiti s ovim. Nije loše, malo promjene i odmaka od svih onih tamnijih manikura, i baš mi se sviđa! Nadam se da će i vama . A za one redoznale, koristila sam 3 plave nijanse i jedan bijeli lak kao i komadić spužve za manikuru. 
A sad odoh provjeriti što su druge cure napravile s ovim izazovom... slobodno mi se pridružite.

4 Elements Nail Challenge - Water

Hi my friends!

Once again I'm one day late . Here is my 'water' manicure:
Opet kasnim . No, evo moje 'vodene' manikure.

This time everything went wrong! I choose 'blue escape' by Avon for background, which was a bad idea, because this polish is too transparent and it needs at least three coats. I tried to achieve the bubble look (maybe some fish underneath is trying to get some fresh air), but I don't think I made it. Again I blame that Avon for it, because it's too transparent to cover white polish . I end it with 'choose me' by Essence... but there's no sun outside and you can't see it in all its beauty. Anyway, this was suppose to be 'water' manicure. 

Ovaj put je sve pošlo naopako! Izabrala sam 'blue escape' od Avona za pozadinu, što je bila loša ideja jer mu trebaju barem tri sloja... Htjela sam dočarati mjehuriće (možda neka ribica ispod pokušava uhvatiti svježeg zraka), ali mi se čini da nisam uspjela. Opet ću okriviti ovaj Avonov lakić jer je preproziran da pokrije bijeli . Na kraju sam sve pokrila s Essenceovim 'choose me' , ali vani nema sunca pa ga ne možete vidjeti u svoj njegovoj ljepoti. No, to bi bila moja 'vodena' manikura.

4 elements nail challenge - Fire

Hi my friends!

I know, I know, again me with some challenge . What can I say - I love it! This one is brought to us by dear Taya.
Ma znam, opet ja s nekim izazovom . A šta da vam kažem kad ih volim! Ovaj nam je poklonila naša draga Taya.

Although some dates are the same as in the 'Halloween nail art challenge' I just couldn't allow it to pass without me, the themes are perfect! I'm one day late, but you'll forgive me . Here comes sweet fire of mine...
Iako se neki datumi poklapaju s 'Halloween izazovom' nisam mogla dozvoliti da ovaj prođe bez mene, teme su savršene! Kasnim (samo) dan, ali oprostit ćete mi . Ide i moja slatka vatrica...

After base coat, which is black in this case, I used tiny brush for yellow, orange and red flames. Not bad, but I prefer a needle technique, think the result is more convincing that way. For those of you whom don't believe me, just take a look at it. Which version do you prefer?
Nakon baze, koja je u ovom slučaju crna poslužila sam se tankim kistićem za žute, narančaste i crvene  plamenove. Nije loše, ali meni je igla tehnika draža, mislim da je rezultat  na taj način puno uvjerljiviji. Za one koji mi ne vjeruju, pogledajte i ovo. Koja je verzija vama draža?
