Matching Manicure Sunday #26 - Vintage Manicure

I thought of skipping this round, because I woke up this morning with horrifying headache . The sunny day outside, coffee, not even the pills... nothing helped, nothing worked. But instead of giving up, I sit down at my polishing desk, start to thinking which polishes I could use, and what to do. So I just unplugged myself from the world. After maybe an hour, when my manicure was done, I realized that my headache is gone too . Who said nail art isn't good for nothing !?

Mislila sam da ću preskočiti ovu rundu jer sam se jutros probudila s užasnom glavoboljom . Krasan sunčan dan, kavica, tuširanje, čak ni tableta... ništa nije pomoglo. Ali umjesto da odustanem, ipak sam sjela za svoj stolić za lakiranje, i pokušavala smisliti što da napravim, koje lakove da upotrijebim. I tako sam se sasvim isključila od svijeta. Nakon nekih sat vremena, kad je manikura bila gotova, shvatila sam da je i glavobolja otišla . Pa nek' mi netko kaže da nail art nije ni za što !

Matching Manicure Sunday #13 - Mint birthday manicure

Yesterday was Dženana's birthday, so this round of Matching Manicure Sunday goes for her - happy birthday sweetie . I know for a fact that she loves glitter and mint color, so this is what I came up with.

Jučer je Dženana proslavila rođendan, pa je ova runda nedjeljnih manikura posvećena njoj - sretan ti rođenda draga . Znam sigurno da voli i glitter i mint bojice, pa sam to zamislila nekako ovako.

As base color for this manicure I used Golden Rose RICH COLOR #44, gorgeous mint creme. The balloons were drawn with white acrylic paint, then painted with orange, pink and blue L'OREAL nail polish. I framed them with black, then added touch of white. On the rest of my nails I added essence 'gold fever' glitter. Hope Dženana will be pleased with it .

Za baznu boju sam iskoristila Golden Rose RICH COLOR #44, prekrasan mint lakić. Balone sam nacrtala bijelom akrilnom bojom, a onda ih obojila narančastim, rozim i plavim L'OREAL lakovima. Uokvirila sam ih crnom, pa ubacila i tračak bijele, za plastičniji izgled. Na ostatak noktiju dodala sam essence 'gold fever' glitter. Nadam se da će Dženana biti zadovoljna .

Innocent Toxin is What I Mint

I have two old swatches for you, both from green specter, both lovely colors but totally different.
Imam za Vas dva starija swatcha, oba iz zelenog spektra, obje krasne boje, ali sasvim različite.

This is CATRICE 'Innocent Toxin', three coats with no topcoat. I had no problem with formula, or brush, although the polish is kinda sheer and you need three coats for full coverage. If you look really close, you'll see lovely shimmer in this lemon-green color.  

Gore je CATRICE 'Innocent Toxin', tri sloja, bez nadlaka. Ni formula ni četkica mi nisu stvarali probleme, premda je lak malo proziran pa će Vam trebati tri sloja za punu pokrivenost. A ako se malo približite, vidjet ćete i krasan shimmer u ovoj limun zelenoj boji.

And this is essence 'that's what i mint!', one of mints in my collection. This one needs three coats, that way it looks the best. If you, by any chance have longer nails... maybe you'll need an additional coat or two. But the color is awesome, drying time nice, and I just love essence brushes. If you want to see shimmer in it, you'll need to get real close, but it's definitely worth it. On pics I wear three coats, no topcoat. 

There's just one problem - I can't decide which of these colors I love the most... can you help me make the choice!?

A evo i essence 'that's what i mint!', jednog od mintića iz moje kolekcije. Za ovog ćete opet trebati tri sloja, tako najbolje izgleda. Imate li dulje nokte... možda ćete trebati još koji sloj. Ali bojica je definitivno krasna, sasvim se pristojno suši, i volim essence četkice. Da bi vidjeli shimmer, trebate se sasvim približiti, ali vrijedi. Na noktima su tri sloja, bez nadlaka.

Ostaje mi još jedan problem - ne mogu se odlučiti koja mi je od ove dvije boje draža, možete li mi pomoći s izborom!?

Black Dot

Flormar Black Dot 02 is gorgeous creme mint polish with - black dots. Glitter in it comes in two sizes, bigger in hexagonal shape, smaller are round. The polish applies nice, you only need to wait for the first coat to get dry, otherwise you'll end up with bald spots, but it's not a problem, since this polish has a decent drying time. I'm wearing two coats on upper pics, with no topcoat. There's no need for fishing for those glitters, they come out quite easy. The polish it self is kinda bumpy when dry, but you can fix that with just one coat of topcoat. On lower pics, you see it with topcoat. 

Flormar Black Dot 02 je lak prekrasne mint boje s - crnim točkicama! Glitter u njemu je u dvije veličine, veći je u obliku šesterokuta, manji okrugao. Lak se nanosi bez problema, treba samo pričekati da se prvi sloj osuši, inaće ćete završiti s ćelavim mjestima na noktu, ali to i nije neki problem, jer lak ima sasvim pristojno vrijeme sušenja. Na fotkama nosim dva sloja, bez nadlaka. Čak ni glitter ne trebate hvatati po bočici, bez teškoća ostaje na noktu. Lak je malo hrapav kad se osuši, zbog ovih većih glittera, ali to se da ispraviti slojen nadlaka. Na donjim fotkama ga možete vidjeti s nadlakom.

Let me tell you a little secret - I wore it for two days, without topcoat, waiting for sun to shows up. I don't know why, but it seems that Flormar has a problem with 'essence' topcoat, they're not compatible, the polish chips easier with topcoat on then without it. Anyway, I love the polish, the color is awesome, and black glitter is cool addition.

Have you tried any of Flormar's Black Dot polishes? 

Odat ću Vam i malu tajnu - nosila sam ga dva dana, bez nadlaka, čekajući da se pojavi sunce. Ne znam zašto, ali čini mi se da se ovaj lak baš i ne slaže s 'essence' nadlakom, lak se ranije oštetio s nadlakom nego bez njega. Ali svejedno, ovo je lak po mom ukusu, boja mi je predivna, a crni glitter cool dodatak.

Ove nedjelje balkanska blogosfera trebala bi biti puna galaxy manikura. Osobno ih obožavam!

Like so many times before, it seems like I did better job with my left hand .

Kao i puno puta do sada, čini mi se da sam bolji posao odradila lijevom rukom .

For this manicure I used: KIKO Sun Pearl 'blue spot' as background, tiny piece of sponge for China Glaze 'snow', essence sun club 'sunny side up', essence Cute as Hell 'date me!' and R.H Victoria 303... and dotting tool. Simple and gorgeous!
