Fairies in town... with Santa on watch

This post waited too long to see the light of day.... finally, here it is.
I know that Christmas time is long time gone now. I totally forgot about these cute stickers:
Ovaj post je predugo čekao da vidi svjetlo dana... evo ga, konačno.
Znam da je Božić već odavo iza nas. Sasvim sam zaboravila na ove naljepnice:

 

They are from KKCenterhk online store. I thought that putting them on a neutral or nude polish would be good idea, so that's what I did. Unfortunately, outside was dark so the pics are taken inside, under artificial light, which is not flattery to my poor skin... but, you get the picture. 

Naljepnice su iz KKCenterhk online trgovine. Mislila sam da bi bila dobra ideja staviti ih na neutralnu pozadinu pa sam to i napravila. Na nesreću, vani je već bio mrak pa su fotke poslikane unutra, pod umjetnim svjetlom koje baš i ne laska mojoj jadnoj koži... ali, vidjet ćete već.

The stickers are quite cute. All you have to do is put them on your nails, and sealed with top coat. Instant nail art in a minute . Lots of Santas, Christmas trees, balloons and moon with stars on it. They suppose to glow in the dark, but I don't have a photo to prove it... I forgot about that part .

First three pictures from this series are taken in the sun, the last two in the shade. I made purple glitter to blue gradient, then stamped the pattern with white polish... but couldn't resist to add some gold sparkles on fairies wings. Too many sparkles, this manicure was almost impossible to capture it.... but I love the way it looks .

Napravila sam plavo-ljubičasti gradijent s glitterom, a onda i ispečatirala uzorak s bijelim lakom... ali nisam mogla odoljeti pa sam dodala i malo vilinskog praha na vilina krila. Previše blještavo, manikura je bila skoro pa nemoguća za poslikati... ali sviđa mi se kako izgleda .

Reto 2013 - Inspired by Flags

It's the third week of Reto 2013 challenge, this week the theme are flags. I'm from Croatia, so it's right if I give you my version of Croatian flag.
Maybe you know, maybe you don't: Croatian flag consist of three colors: red, white and blue, and they are horizontally arranged. In the middle of white field is coat of arms of Croatia which looks like a shield with 25 red and white fields (like in a chess), above it you can see five crowning shields which represent the historical regions from which Croatia originated: oldest known Croatian coat of arms, old coat of arms of Republic of Ragusa, coat of arms of Dalmatia, the one of Istria and the last one of Slavonia.
Evo nas u trećem tjednu Reto 2013 izazova, ovaj tjedan tema su zastave. Ja sam ih Hrvatske, pa je u redu da vam predstavim svoju verziju Hrvatske zastave.
Možda znate, a možda i ne: Hrvatska zastava sastoji se od tri boje: crvene, bijele i plave, u horizontalnom položaju. U sredini bijelog polja je grb Republike Hrvatske koji izgleda kao štit s 25 crvenih i bijelih polja (kao u šahu), a poviše njega možete vidjeti i 5 manjih grbova koji su poredani kao kruna i prikazuju povijesne pokrajine od kojih je Hrvatska nastala: najstariji Hrvatski grb, grb Dubrovačke Republike, grb Dalmacije, Istre i na posljednjem mjestu grb Slavonije.

My version is not that great. I'm sure you're all experienced one of those days when it seems than everything you do is just going wrong... I had problems with drying all those coats, scotch tape didn't behave, stamping went wrong... Finally I went bananas, that's it, I'm done with this manicure! I promise you something better next time.

Anyway, I used China Glaze 'snow', Essence 'cool and the gang' and Ch Nail fluorescent 1 with Essence stamping plate.

Moja verzija baš nije sjajna. Sigurna sam da ste sve imale one dane kad vam se čini da sve što taknete ide naopako... imala sam problema sa sušenjem lakova, selotejp nije bio pristojan, štambiljanje je ispalo loše... Na kraju sam pukla i odustala od daljnjih pokušaja! Obećavam nešto bolje idući put. 

Nego, koristila sam China Glaze 'snow', Essence 'cool and the gang' i Ch Nail fluorescent 1 sa Essence pločicom za štambiljanjem.

Grey vs orange

It's gloomy day outside, and I miss will power to even polish my nails... but luckily, I have some swatches from last week .

Vani je tmuran dan i nemam volje niti za lakiranje noktiju... srećom, imam par swatcheva od prošlog tjedna .

This shimmery orange is Estetic 245 by Ingrid Cosmetic, two coats with no topcoat. I love this bright color, but unfortunately, it doesn't suit my skin tone that great so I don't wear it as much as I would like. Drying time is not so great, and it has strong smell... I saw better polishes from this brand.

Ova svjetlucava narančasta je Estetic 245 od Ingrid Cosmetic, dva sloja bez nadlaka. Sviđaju mi se ovakve boje, ali zbilja ne idu uz moj ten pa ih ni ne nosim onoliko koliko bih htjela. Vrijeme sušenja nije bilo baš bajno, a ima i prilično jak miris... uglavnom, ovaj brand ima i puno boljih lakića.

This gorgeous grey with blue shimmer is 'you're a heartbreaker' from Essence's '50's girls reloaded' collection. I have it for some time but I never showed it here properly. The formula is awesome, it's super creamy, it covers perfectly after two thin coats, drying time is not bad at all, on pics are two coats with no topcoat.  

Ovaj sivi ljepotan s plavim shimmerom je 'you're a heartbreaker' iz Essenceeove '50's girls reloaded' kolekcije. Mogli ste ga već par puta vidjeti na blogu, ali ga nikad nisam poslikala samog. Formula je savršena, baš je kremast, a pokriva savršeno sa dva tanka sloja. Vrijeme sušenja super, a na fotkama vidite dva sloja bez nadlaka. 

Ok, now my day looks something better and I'm ready for new manicure .

I must admit, the work of my colleagues bloggers often inspires me. This time, seeing this manicure from talented Elizabeth, I couldn't resist, I had to try it on my own. Here is my attempt:
Moram priznati da me rad kolegica blogerica često inspirira. Ovog puta, kad sam vidjela Elizabethinu manikuru, nisam odoljela i morala sam je probati i sama. Evo moje verzije:

Cool, isn't it!? This is more my type of Valentines manicure . As you can see, I had some problems with the acrylic paints, from now on I'll stick with polishes . 

Base color is gorgeous Claire's 'candy shop', that I won on Polish Freshie's giveaway. Here it is, on its own, three coats with no top coat.

Baš je cool! Ovo je više moj tip Valentinovske manikure . Kao što vidite, imala sam nekih problema s akrilnim bojicama, sve mi se čini da ću se odsada držati lakova . 

Baza je prekrasan Claire's 'candy shop', kojeg sam osvojila na darivanju kod Polish Freshie. Evo ga samog, tri sloja bez nadlaka.

Love the formula of this polish! It dries super fast so multiple layers are really no problem. In the bottle are multicolored glitters of different sizes in a jelly pink base. I don't believe that any pink lovers out there will easily resist to this beauty. 

So, in this case, do you prefer naked polish or nail art? 

Formula ovog laka je predobra! Super se suši, tako da više slojeva uopće nije problem. U bočici je brdo raznobojnih glittera u više veličina u rozoj jelly bazi. Ne vjerujem da će bilo koja ljubiteljica rozih lakića lako odoljeti ovom ljepotanu. 

Što će u ovom slučaju biti vaš favorit - lak ili nail art?
