July in pictures

Hi there!

No one happier from me that this month is finally over! On first day of July I lost my dad... well, I'm a big girl now, but I still want my dad. He lived in another country for a long time, so I had to travel to a funeral. When I got home, another lovely surprise waited for me - my son was physically attacked two times in two days. It seemed like the whole world was conspiring to hurt me or my family... 

But, life goes on. I survived, like so many times before. Luckily, the rest of this month wasn't so bad. I even had some time for shopping, seeing some dear people, enjoy myself at concerts... 

These are the things that found their way to me through last month.

Nitko sretniji od mene što se konačno rješavamo ovog srpnja! Prvog dana mjeseca izgubila sam tatu... no, već sam velika cura, ali isto trebam tatu. Tata već duugo živi u drugoj državi pa sam morala putovati na pogreb. Po dolasku doma čekalo me još jedno krasno iznenađenje - sin mi je dva puta u dva dana napadnut. Činilo mi se kao da se čitav svijet urotio da povrijedi mene ili moju obitelj...
No, kako to već biva, život neminovno ide dalje. Preživjela sam, kao i svaki put do sada. Srećom, ostatak mjeseca nije bio tako strašan. Uhvatila sam vremena i za shopping, za susrete s dragim ljudima, zabavu na koncertima...

Today I had the creativity attack, so very special dinner is in the oven right now, I did my nails, and after I'm done with this post I must finish what I started to sew. It must be something in the air .

Danas sam pod napadom kreativnosti, pa je tako posebna večera u pećnici, nalakirala sam nokte, a nakon što odradim post moram završiti i ono što sam počela šiti. Nešto je divlje u zraku .

Well, this is NOT my manicure, but something I digged up on Pinterest, which I'm, btw, not using. I liked the black and silver combo, and I wasn't in a mood for anything too demanding... summer laziness, what can I tell you . Here's my version:

Dakle, ovo NIJE moja manikura, već jedna iskopana s Pinteresta, koji ja, usputbudirečeno, ne koristim. Svidjela mi se srebrno-crna kombinacija, a baš i nisam bila raspoložena za nešto prezahtjevno... što da Vam kažem - fjaka je u zraku . Evo i moje verzije:

Malena nail polishes

If you decide to stay with me for a few minutes, I'll show you couple of polishes from a brand 'Malena'. On bottles says 'made in France', but on the other side you can see that they're bottled in Macedonia. Anyway, girls from Serbia can found them in 'Lilly' drugstores, which is where I bought them myself. I grabbed few bright and vivid colors. 

Ukoliko odlučite ostati sa mnom par minuta, pokazat ću Vam neke od lakova branda 'Malena'. Na bočicama stoji 'made in France', no na drugoj strani možete vidjeti da su punjene u Makedoniji. Cure iz Srbije ih mogu pronaći u 'Lilly' drogerijama, gdje sam ih i sama uzela. Zgrabila sam par svijetlih i jarkih boja.

I don't have a new manicure for you, because Brazilian flag still looks great, but I started to feel itchy, so that one will probably go down tomorrow... in meanwhile, let me show you some (old) swatches.

This manicure is dedicated to beautiful Brazil. I was really mesmerized by the bauties of that country and its people - always nice and in a great mood  . 

Manikura je posvećena prekrasnom Brazilu, no mislim da je to ionako očigledno. Zbilja sam očarana prirodnim ljepotama i ljudima koje sam tamo srela - uvijek ljubazni i dobro raspoloženi  . Čak im neću zamjeriti ni apsolutno nepoznavanje engleskog jezika.

Najbolje je okrenuti glavu od TV-a, jer tamo Njemci doslovno masakriraju Brazilce . A mi ionako imamo važnijeg posla - lakiće i novu manikuru!

June in a couple of photos

It would be the best if I just pretend that the last few days didn't happened at all. So, my dear girls, June has just finished, and to maintain the tradition, you'll see collage of that month. Not many pictures in it, I was too busy with preparation for trip to Brazil... and that trip was one of the best things I have ever experienced . 

You probably wonder what have I brought from Brazil. Well, some polishes, of course . Honestly, I didn't had much time to spend it on shopping, I rather occupied myself with other things, but I haven't came home empty handed.

Najbolje da se pretvaram da se posljednjih par dana nije ni dogodilo. I tako, drage moje cure, lipanj tek što je završio, i u skladu s tradicijom, vidjet ćete i prošlomjesečni kolaž. Nema baš nešto manikura u njemu, bila sam prezauzeta pripremama za put za Brazil... a taj put je zbilja bio jedna od najboljih stvari koje sam uopće doživjela  .
Vjerojatno se pitate što sam si donijela iz Brazila. Pa narafski, nešto lakića  . Iskreno, i nisam baš imala nešto vremena za shoppingiranje, radije sam ga potrošila na neke druge stvari, no nisam došla kući praznih ruku.
