Misslyn Galaxy Nails

Recently I got sweet surprise from Misslyn Hrvatska. It was the complete limited edition called 'galaxy nails' .

Nedavno me Misslyn Hrvatska razveselio slatkim iznenađenjem. Poslali su mi kompletnu limitiranu kolekciju 'galaxy nails' .

This set contains six polishes, four of them iridescent duochromes, two metallic diamond, and self-adhesive rhinestones. Let me show you that polishes... but be warned - this is post with tons of photos, don't hate me later .

Set sadrži 6 lakova, od kojih su četiri duochrome, dva metallic diamond (ilitiga glitter), i samoljepljive kamenčiće. Moram Vam pokazati lakove... no budite upozorene - ovo je post s tonom fotki, nemojte me kasnije mrziti zbog toga . 

Misslyn 146 Mars, two coats, no topcoat, outside / dva sloja, bez nadlaka, vani

Misslyn Mars is a gold and orange duochrome polish. Duochrome effect is visible, yet hard to capture. Although this polish offers a great coverage with two coats, I wanted to see how it looks over black, because iridescent polishes looks the best over dark base, in my humble opinion. 

Misslyn Mars je narančasto-zlatni duochrome. Efekt je vidljiv, no težak za fotkanje. Premda lak nudi sjajno pokrivanje u dva sloja, morala sam vidjeti kako izgleda preko crnog, jer ovakvi lakovi s prelijevajućim bojama najbolje izgledaju preko crne baze, po mom skromnom mišljenju, narafski.

See, this way duochrome effect is much stronger, just look how the polish changes depending of light . 

Rekla sam Vam, ovako je duochrome efekt dosta jači, pogledajte samo kako se lak mijenja zavisno od ugla pod kojim svjetlo pada na njega .

Misslyn 334 Venus, two coats, no topcoat, outside / dva sloja, bez nadlaka, vani

I like the name of this one, but it reminds me of Barbie fairy. If Barbie was a fairy, she would definitely covered us all with golden dust . I just needed to check out how it would look over black base.

Sviđa mi se ime, no lak me podsjeća na Barbie vilicu. Da je Barbie vila, mislim da bismo svi bili zatrpani zlatnim prahom . Morala sam provjeriti kako će izgledati preko crne baze. 

Unbelievable, right . The black base made this shade to look kinda green, but even now you can see that pink color and gold dust... just love how the colors are melting. I would definitely wear this combo.

Nevjerojatno, zar ne . Crna baza je ovoj nijansi dala čak i zelenjkavi izgled, no čak i sad se vidi roza boja i zlatna prašina... obožavam kako se boje stapaju. Definitivno kombinacija koju ću nositi. 

Misslyn 575 Orbit, three coats, no topcoat, outside / tri sloja, bez  nadlaka, vani

Misslyn Orbit is green and blue duochrome. This one is a bit less pigmented, so I needed three coats for full coverage. I love how it looks like the blue particles are bursting out of the green base! Once again, duochrome effect is more visible in the shade. 

Misslyn Orbit je zeleno-plavi duochrome. Ovaj je lak nešto slabije pigmentiran, pa su mi za potpuno pokrivanje trebala tri sloja. Sviđa mi se kako izgleda da plave čestice izliječu iz zelene baze! Opet, duochrome efekt je vidljiviji u sjeni. 

Misslyn 607 Atmosphere, two coats, no topcoat, outside / dva sloja, bez nadlaka, vani

Purple-blue duochrome, gotta love it . I don't know if you had a chance to swim in the sea by night. If you did, you've probably see some diatoms and the sparkle they give when you touch them or just move them... like a small firework underwater. This polish reminds me of it . Well, after saying this, I feel an urge to go swimming right now . Maybe I will, if I ever end this post .

The formula of these four polishes is great. They all are good pigmented and cover completely after two coats, except for Orbit for which I needed three coats. They all have great drying time and shiny finish. Misslyn polishes come in 10 ml bottles with medium wide brush. 

Ljubičasto-plavi duochrome, ovog morate voljeti . Ne znam jeste li imali prilike plivati u moru, noću. Ukoliko jeste, vjerojatno ste naletjeli i na dijatomeje i 'iskrice' koje one proizvode kad ih dodirnete ili tek pomaknete sitnim valom... izgledaju kao podvodni vatromet. Ovaj me lak podsjetio na njih . No, nakon što sam ovo rekla, spopala me potreba za noćnim kupanjem, upravo sad . Možda i odem, ukoliko ikad završim ovaj post .

Formula ovih lakića je odlična. Svi su dobro pigmentirani, osim Orbit-a za kojeg su mi trebala tri sloja. Vrijeme sušenja je super a svi su sjajnog finiša i glatki na dodir. Misslyn lakići dolaze u bočicama od 10 ml sa srednje širokom četkicom. 

Misslyn 86A Gold Moondust, two coats, no topcoat, outside / dva sloja, bez nadlaka, vani

Misslyn Gold Moondust is an absolutely gorgeous glitter polish with tiny silver and big gold glitter in clear base. It spreads nicely over nails, the coverage amazed me, I thought it would be good only for layering but you can easily wear it on its own. If you're looking for polish for your special occasions, this is definitely the one! My favorite from this collection .

Misslyn Gold Moondust je apsolutno prekrasan lak sa sitnim srebrnim i krupnijim zlatnim glitterom u prozirnoj bazi. Odlično se maže, a pokrivnost me oduševila, mislila sam da će se moći koristiti tek kao nadlak, no kao što vidite, može se nositi i samostalno. Ukoliko tražite 'the lak' za neku posebnu priliku, ovo je definitivno taj! Meni favorit kolekcije .

Misslyn 86B Sattelite War, two coats, no topcoat, outside / dva sloja, bez nadlaka, vani

Misslyn Sattelite War is a glitter polish of tiny silver particles and larger blue and green glitters in clear base. As with 'gold moondust', the formula is great, it spreads nicely, and dries just fine. 

The finish of these two glitters is pretty chunky, almost like sand polishes. I don't mind it, I rather like it. Drying time was great, but I would strongly recommend wearing 'peel off' base coat under these beauties. 

Now that you've seen all polishes from this limited edition, let me show you what I did with them. 

Misslyn Sattelite War je glitter lak sa sitnim srebrnim i krupnijim plavim i zelenim glitterom u prozirnoj bazi. Kao i prethodniku, formula je odlična, maže se bez problema, a suši prilično brzo.

Finiš ovih glittera je prilično hrapav, skoro kao i kod pjeskića. Meni ne smeta, naprotiv. Vrijeme sušenja je odlično, no ja bih preporučila da ispod ovih krasotana koristite 'peel off' bazu. 

Sad kad sam Vam pokazala lakiće, možete pogledati i što sam napravila s njima. 

Well, this was my first attempt. I used those rhinestones, but I didn't quite like the effect, it was just too much... so I removed it and started all over again. 

No, ovo je bio prvi pokušaj i fail. Stavila sam ove samoljepljive kamenčiće, no efekt mi se uopće nije svidio, sve mi je to bilo previše... pa sam ovo skinula i krenula od početka. 

How to create a manicure like this one? Easy - first you need to apply a base color, I choose 'Atmosphere', then randomly sponged it with the rest of polishes from this set. Because these polishes were hard to capture with my camera, I finished with matte topcoat. Only on the last photo, taken inside, you can see how the manicure looked before I applied the matte topcoat.

Kako napraviti ovakvu manikuru? Ništa lakše - prvo nanesete baznu boju, ja sam se odlučila za 'Atmosphere', onda nasumično 'dospužvala' s ostatkom lakova iz ove kolekcije. Kako su ovi lakovi baš problematični za fotkanje, naročito svi zajedno, manikuru sam završila mat nadlakom.
